Train on 5G Mobility with an Industry Leader

    At the Qualcomm Wireless Academy (QWA), we offer four 5G courses with a large focus on mobility, all of which are taught by experienced engineers from Qualcomm Technologies. Please see below for an overview of each course, along with information on how you can sign up.

    • 5G NR Beam Management and Mobility: This course is for intermediate and advanced wireless engineers and covers beam management and EN-DC mobility, mobility in NR systems, beam management concepts, beam management procedures, and much more.     • 5G NR Beam Management and Mobility Log Analysis Workshop: This advanced and hands-on log analysis workshop gives engineers the opportunity to analyze real logs related to mobility and beam management. Specifically, in this course, participants will dive into beam management log analysis and EN-DC mobility log analysis, learn about and analyze logs related to call flows for mobility scenarios, analyze logs related to RLF scenarios, and more.     • 5G NR Call Processing – Standalone Mode: Our SA Call Processing course covers a wide range of topics, including 5G evolution, network architecture, an overview of UE functions and procedures in Idle mode, call processing considerations, and much more. Regarding mobility, the course covers call flows and procedures related to mobility, slicing implementation in mobility, UE context processing related to IRAT mobility, and signal call flow for idle and connected mode mobility.     • 5G Log Analysis for Standalone Mode Workshop: Similar to the second course discussed above, this is an advanced and hands-on log analysis workshop. This course covers cell acquisition, intra-RAT mobility, SA call flows for mobility, and much more. Course participants also have the opportunity to analyze NR registration logs.     Those interested in the training discussed above may enroll in each course through our eLearning platform, where they can learn online and at their own pace. We can also set up live virtual or in-person trainings for groups of at least 15 people.

    Please also note that each course above is part of our corporate program, meaning a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) must be signed to receive course access. Obtaining an NDA is a quick and easy process, but this means that we can only offer these courses to individuals through their companies.
